Tour Highlights:

Wander through centuries of architecture—from narrow medieval lanes to elegant Georgian shopfronts. Highlights can include Kilkenny Castle & parklands, St Canice’s Cathedral and its round tower, The Black Abbey, Medieval Mile Museum, Rothe House & Garden. Hidden lanes, ghost stories, and local lore will all be shared.

Custom Time in Kilkenny if guests choose to remain in town Kilkenny offers artisan shopping (ceramics, jewellery, tweed, and design), great cafés, pubs, and restaurants, contemporary galleries and hidden bookshops. Optional time for sketching, photography, or simply soaking it all in for a proper slow day.

Graiguenamanagh (Optional)
A postcard-pretty monastic town nestled on the River Barrow. Enjoy a quiet walk along the towpath or a coffee by the river. Depending on the season, the town can be vibrant with waterway life or wrapped in quiet, contemplative charm.

Step inside one of Ireland’s lesser-known but deeply atmospheric abbeys. Still a working parish church, this 13th-century Cistercian foundation is a lovely place to connect with Ireland’s spiritual and architectural past.

Cushendale Woollen Mills, a family-run mill weaving with Irish wool and mohair in a heritage-rich setting. If available, we’ll tour the working looms and browse the onsite shop—ideal for guests interested in Irish craft, sustainability, or textiles.
